Sinus and allergy symptoms are challenging to millions of people. Patients can feel disconnected from their family and friends because they continually miss out on activities due to their symptoms. The ENT Center of Northwest Alabama aims to change the way these patients manage their day to day allergy care by putting data into their hands through My Allergy Score.
Using a combination of data, My Allergy Score calculates a score for how a patient will feel day to day. We assemble this score using the following:
Exposure: The geo-location data from the patient's phone letting us know what allergens in the environment they have been exposed to
Symptoms: Daily assessment logged by the patient
Sensitivities: the allergens a patient tested positive to on allergy tests
To enhance the clinic experience, we developed My Allergy Score, a web and mobile application that allows patients to accurately monitor and manage their allergy symptoms. This application includes features such as appointment reminders, online check-in, and viewing treatment history. Additionally, My Allergy Score offers a new experience for patients, enabling them to track their daily symptoms, identify potential allergens in their area, and see how these allergens might affect them in the coming days.
At the ENT Center of Northwest Alabama, our goal was to create a platform enabling clinicians to manage patient access to My Allergy Score and provide a custom interface for clinic visits. The admin providers can manage appointments directly within the app in several ways:
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
